Welcome to the 2023 Fall 7th-High School Player Development Program and League

This registration will allow you to provide contact information, sign consents, and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. The NCA program continues to pursue new and exciting opportunities within our girls basketball program! As a result, we will be offering a NCA High School Player Fall Development Program during the Fall session. Its primary purpose, based on NCA core values, is to focus on player development through fundamentals. It will follow Academy level training concepts, along with weekly competitions. During the session, the NCA will continue its affiliation with the AAU program and its guidelines, which will require an updated player card (good through the summer of 2024). The previous cards expire at the end of August, 2023. Once player registration begins, it will follow the same easy process provided via our NCA website. Every effort has been made to provide nearby training locations, and keep program costs down.  The goal is that the program provides player value and lasting results.
 

In essence, the NCA’s High School Player Fall Development Program format will be as follows:

• Sessions will run from the week of September 11th to October 14th (5 weeks)
• Open to girls currently in grades 7 to 12
• Registration will remain open until September 11th to allow assessment of player participation and identify team selections
  • Player/Team assignments will be posted on the NCA website after the first Academy workout
• Per player cost will be $200, which covers NCA’s base expenditures which include facility use and insurance fees, referee fees and player AAU insurance card
• Academy level training sessions
  • 1.5-hr player training sessions twice per week, Monday/Wednesday, 6:30 to 8:00 pm
  • All training sessions and weekend competitions will be held at Maria Carrillo High School located at 6975 Montecito Blvd, Santa Rosa.
• Competitions - 2 games per weekend (Saturdays)
  • Dates will be 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7 and 10/14.
  • Games times will be 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 and 12:00.  Gym will open at 8:30am.
  • Games will be played in the Main gym
  • Coached by NCA coaches
  • Teams will be mixed and consist of players selected from the registered pool of NCA members in grades 7-12.
  • New Teams will be constructed for each weekend competition
  • Referees will officiate games
